Problems with 3DMARK2001:SE (330)

I have been having difficulty running 3dmark2001 on my system. I did a fresh install awhile back, and it worked fine with my basic drivers. Since then I've updated my XP drivers, my nvidia drivers, and installed a lot of games. Now 3dmark2001 gives me an error about my video card not being supported, or not having the right version of directX. I'm running winXP and I have a GeForce 4 ti 4400. What's the problem?
