Problems with 3com switches..

Ok, I got 2 superstack II 3000's, 12 port.

I am having problems getting them to work properly.

there are 3 sets of 4 jacks on it. It sees each set of 4 as a diff switch, like I can plug 3 computers and my router in to 1 section of 4, and I got net and lan, but if I plug another computer at the other end of the switch I can not access the net or the lan.

I know that these are managed switches, and I am wondering if there is a possibility that these swiches are setup to be like this or??

I noticed with one of the switches, the internet was really really slow.

I had tested it, and it was at like 364kb, and then with the other switch, it was at like 962 where it should be.

How would I go about getting into the setup portion of this switch to make it a regular switch? This is not working as I had hoped it would, my other switches worked no prob.
