Problems with 2 gateways in Vista

I'm on Vista 64 and I'm trying to get this to work like how it would in XP, but for some weird reason Vista doesn't seem to like how I set up my network configuration. I want to 2 default gateway ones is for my wireless adapter , and the other for connecting to my notebook through a giga nic card. I tried using RIP, but it doesn't seem to help. Every time I have both network device on one will take over, mostly the giga nic, but I want both of them running at the same time. I used the wireless mostly for internet and printing, and I use the giga nic to transfer files back and forth between my computer and notebook? Any one have a clue or a link that has the procedures to configuring my network under Vista to work like that?
