p133 was replaced by p200 on HX-mb and dipswiches related to processor speed where set to 200MHz. Boot from win95 startup floppy was succesfull, but win95 existing on HD does not boot:
in normal mode it stops after "emm386 error #06", in steb by step
i disable emm386 and get "the division overflow", in safe mode "the IOS can't be initialized". Looking for ideas to solve the problem.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Was the 200 an 200MMX ? MMX processors require ther motherboard to be able to supply different Vcore and V I/O voltages (dual voltage). Non MMX pentiums run on an 3.3V I/O and Vcore voltage. If your motherboard is compatible with MMX then there should be jumpers to set the VCore and there will probably be a jumper to select between P54C and P55C (or similar.) P55C are PentiumMMX and P54C are classic pentiums.

My motherboard manual says a PentiumMMX requires a Vcore of 2.8V with 3.3V I/O.
