problems when playing aquanox and only aquanox, odd

Hi

guys a friend of mine was having some problems when playing aquanox, so he brought me his pc for fixin
ok I checked around and it all looks good, all games play, just aquanox doesnt want to play right, it will play, in any quality, but it will freeze for 5-10seconds now and then (same thing as a phone jack when you play quake online) odd stuff
the machine is an xp2400 on a gigabyte 7vac, the ram is 512pc2100, v-card is a pny ti4200 64mb, the hdd is a wd 7200rpmer
it should take it no problem so I dont get it

any suggestions ?

It sounds like the game is caching to the hard drive (meaning system needs more memory)... but that's only a guess.

nah, I play it on my 1.33 with a msi ti4200 64mb and 512mb pc133 and its all good
