Problems w/XP Pro Installation

System specs are in my sig.
Config:
-HDD in SATA1 slot on mobo
-DVD-RW (Master) and DVD-Rom (Slave) on secondary IDE slot on mobo
-Vid Card in 1st slot
-Currently in SLI mode (I tried it in single mode too but same thing happens and it came in SLI mode and the manual says it should come in single mode)
-Tell me if you need more info

Problem: I get to the point when my screen says "windows setup" or something like that in the top left corner of my screen and then at the very bottom there's a line that says "setup is loading files (xxxxxx)" (not far at all into the install actually its the first thing of the install). Once it prepares all the files it reboots and does it over and over again. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks in advance.

Go into BIOS and ensure that the anti-virus [if there] is not enabled

So you have SATA, huh?

Looking through the manual really quick, one question is whether you have the nVidia SATA controller's RAID mode switched off (which would be good). Check in Advanced > Onboard Devices Configuration > NVRAID Configuration and see. If it's off, then that ought to eliminate the need for drivers on floppy, because it can just act like PATA would.

If the NVRAID function is not turned off, turn it off, and then reboot and go back into the BIOS again. If the NVRAID function is off, then go on over to the BOOT part of the menu and check your boot-device priority list. Is the drive in there? If not, then go into the Hard Disk Drives area and see if it's showing in there and just needs choosing.

I could be interpreting the manual's info incorrectly, so you may want to experiment a little with enabling/disabling various of the settings. The goal is for your hard drive to be selectable as a boot device over in the BOOT section of the BIOS. Good luck and LMK what works
