Problems using Divx with TV-out

I have a GeForce2MX-400, been trying to get Divx movies to play on my 27" TV set. Only problem is, the image gets distorted when I switch to full screen mode. These horizontal lines keep popping up. I've tried using a half-dozen different players, but the lines still come. Anyone else had this problem?
