problems using CVSup in freebsd4.10

I tried out 4.10 for a project I am working on, using the floppy install and planning to get everything up to dae with cvsup. I have edited my supfile, created targes per supfile, but the cvsup command is not found. This is a new one on me!
A previous install I had done I started at 4.9 and supped it to 4.10 with no problems.

OK, it is up now after a reboot. I feel pretty silly about now😱

I am trying out FreeBSD for the first time, well first serious try.

Seems to work out just fine, reminds me of Gentoo. Although a sane version of Gentoo.

Running 5.3RC1 on my laptop. It's as stable as anything else out there.

I like ports, although the compiling takes a while, but that's to be expected.

For example I just installed gnome desktop. So I went:

pkg_add -rv gnome2

This installed all the stuff for it.

ran
cvsup -g L 2 /root/ports-supfile
pkgdb -F
portaudit -F
portupgrade -a

And then it took a few hours of compiling (I would be doing stuff on the side, so that when it prompted me for a question it would sit their idle for some time)

All in all it seems pretty decent. I now have my familar user interface (gnome 2.6, +xterms running bash) and I like it. I appreciete the documentation quite a bit, too. Only had to look on the internet for a couple stuff.

yes, compiling is a time warp event. I only use it for servers, so I have never tried getting a desktop going with it.
this one will be running hylafax, so my bro can go about his mobile business and get notification of faxes recieved, and forward them on as needed. I am setting up a notification email to his phone, then he will deal with them when he connects periodically.

I figured something like that would be a nice project for a mini-itx server.

Fax machine, but save them in digital format (pdf's?), answering machine, call forwarder and all that fun stuff.

Basicly a personal corrispondance server. Phone, audio, text, fax, etc etc. Probably even VoIP.

I'll have to remember that hylafax thing. Were I work they have a linux server that takes care of faxes and such, and they have it setup so that certain types of e-mails get forwared to people's pagers and whatnot. I don't know the exact setup though.

One thing I thought of that would be clever a long time ago would be to setup the modem to recieve calls and the phone people would be able to forward it to it for different purposes.
