Problems surfacing with iPod Nano screen

these things are so small people put themin their pockets with their keys and it's no wonder they get cracked and scratched. Shades of the Canon digicam LCD problems.

I use a screen protector on my Canon along with a case and of course it's in mint condition.

You know I had a phone screen crack once in my pocket.

Except I was intelligent enough to realize that I must have hit it on something.

Scratches are one thing (and typical of ipods) but LCD displays don't spontaneously crack.

Hmm...after all the delivery promises mine is due for arrival tomorrow...wondering if I should protect from the start...the display 😉
Some people tell about having good experience using PDA display protection foil...

Thats odd. Something is wrong with the search in general..or my search. I searched for Nano..and didn't find any thread at all talking about the problems.

I just went back and searched..and I don't even show my thread! But I show a bunch of other threads in OT about the nano. WTF!

I was looking for a PDA screen protector and I found the digicam LCD protector and it's all the same. I have it on both and it's working all the same. $10 from Staples for a whole bunch that is "customizable" (by way of scissors).
