problems since upgrading to itunes 7

So, ever since I upgraded to itunes 7, I've had little computer problems that I need to resolve.

1) I no longer can watch streaming videos, like google video or youtube. In place of a streaming video, there's a picture of a giant quicktime logo with a questionmark. Nothing happens when I click it or right click it. Quicktime updated or something, but I don't know how to get it to work. I've been fiddling around with the preferences but I can't get it to work.

Now iPod stuff..

2) I can't add music to the ipod without adding it to my "library" first. I don't use iTunes to play music. I think it's bloated and I love foobar. All I use it for is transferring music to the iPod, so having to add it to my "library" is really inconvenient.

3) Music I add to the iPod that has album art doesn't show up on the iPod when I play it. But all the music I added before with album art still works fine on the iPod. The "new" album art shows up in iTunes, but not on the iPod.

The one good thing is the gapless playback. If I go back to the old iTunes (6.whatever), will I no longer have gapless playback on new music I add. I wonder because iTunes 7 scans for gapless playback (why does it have to do that? foobar gives me gapless playback without me having to do anymore work).

I'm very disappointed and annoyed. Can you help me? Thanks.

I've experienced #2 myself. At first I wasn't sure if it was itunes or the firmware upgrade that i'd done on the ipod itself. I use tag & rename to edit tags and embed album art into the mp3's that I have so I know that the artwork is there. I plugged my ipod into my laptop, which still has itunes 6, and when I drag music onto it, the artwork appears like it did before. So I may not have a resoulution for you, but I think we can confirm that itunes 7 is indeed the culprit.
