Problems since installing Kazaa Lite. . .

I recently installed Kazaa Lite--since then on several websites I have to press "back" several times for it to go back even one page. Also on many websites the banner ads don't load. I'm not really complaining about that, but it is a little annoying to see large blocks of "page cannot be displayed" on an otherwise functional site. Can anyone give me some help? Thanks!

It replaced your hosts file in \windows\system32\drivers\etc.
Rename the one it put there and your problem is solved.

The first issue is unrelated to Kazaa Lite. It happens when webpages "redirect to themselves", so when you click back, you get redirected to the same page again... Only double clicking back works then.

The second issue is intended by Kazaa Lite, but you can eliminate it by deleting the HOSTS file in your windows systems directory.
In Windows 95/98:
c:\windows\hosts

In Windows NT/2000:
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

In Windows XP Home:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Edit: Too slow...

That is most likely down to the hosts file.
The version you install with Kazaa redirects most ad addresses to localhost so this is why they don't display correctly.

If you don't like it then just delete all the entries that redirect adverts to 127.0.0.1
