Problems since I installed PNY 6800 GT

Hi all,

Since I purchased a PNY 6800 GT last week, the card's performance has been excellent, but there has been an occasional problem that is very frustrating. While I'm playing a game -- and this has now happened in two different games -- the computer will just suddenly restart. It sounds to me like a power issue, mostly because the way it restarts is reminiscent of what happened when I momentarily lost power in my apartment over the summer.

I have a 400W power supply (or, at least, that's what I paid for...), which should be enough to handle the card. What gives? Any ideas?

What brand is the PSU, generic ones aren't powerful enough in most cases; you need a quality one.

McArra got it, It's da PSU... get enermax with 30A 12V rail problems will disappear for a very long time

guys are even powering Sli 2 x ultras and FX-55@3100 with it.. best bang for the buck high power.
