We're on a big network so the win98 printer is shared using samba and it is set to need a password. With Win2k, I can browse the network and add the printer; the software installs fine and everything looks okay, but then when I try to print I get various errors. I'm pretty sure this is because I haven't entered the password for the printer. I haven't entered the password because I can not find anywhere to enter it. Does Win2k handle printer sharing differently than Win98? Anyone know where I can enter that password? Sharing the printer from the Win2k computer to the Win98 one is an option, but it would be kind of a pain.
WordPad and some other programs say "Could not start print job."
IE gives doesn't give an error, but it doesn't print.
