Problems sharing and mapping drives

I'm setting up a small network for a friend but I'm hacing a hard time sharing the drives...they want full access for the C: drive at all times...so I just right click the drive and allow full access...here's my problem:

there's 3 computers total on a wireless network...all have the same workgroup and all are running xp pro and are all updated

computer 1 will not work at all...I can't map any drives to it...and no computer can connect to it

computer 2 is a laptop that sorta works...I can connect to computer 3 fine and read and write to the drive...compter 3 can map computer 2's drive...but when I access a folder such as program files...I get access is denied...it can red/write to the root of the drive though...

any suggestions? I'm not really a networking person...this is kinda new to me so there's a good change that I'm missing an obvious thing...

actually found out what 1/2 the problem was...the computer that didn't respond to anything was running norton internet security...disabled that and now it works great...

but the other 1/2 has yet to be solved...the laptop's drive can be mapped and browsed...with the exception of viewing folders such as program files or windows...I get an error saying access is denied...the laptop can browse the other computers program files and windows folders though...

Probably an NTFS permissions problem. It's that "Security" tab in the properties of a folder/file. You can go here to find out how to configure Sharing and NTFS permissions.
