I cant install any operating system I have tried XP win 98 and 2000. I'v gotten numerous error messages trying to install the operating systems.

Examples, PXE-E61: media test failure, Stop: c000021 unkown hard error /SystemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll,
disk boot sector is to be modified type "Y" to accept, any key to abort, non-system disk error, etc.

No matter what I try is seems there is some error meassage popping up. I used fdisk to partition the drive and the partion is showing up as 12xxxkb which is way to small for an 80G drive. When I check the bois everything recognized properly. I am stumped, any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I have googled all these errors and nothing has helped. I have also tried to download the latest bios from soltek but I cant get to there website and neither can my brother.

Have you been able to isolate each part as working in another system? Meaning, seeing if the HD works on another rig. Have you tried switching out items. Nothing fancy in terms of the error msg, but sometimes taking a dimm in and out is all it takes. G

This may sound stupid, but are you hitting F6 to install the sata controller drivers when prompted during the Windows setup?
