I just received a GeForce 6600 GT card with dual DVI outputs and a Component video cable. I'm trying to drive a 1680x1050 signal to the Dell LCD Monitor and a 1280x720 signal to the Samsung DLP TV.
The image always looks fine in Dualview on the Dell monitor. I've selected it as my primary display. It doesn't loook right, however, on the Samsung DLP. My goal is to have the Media Center window in the Samsung DLP while I work on the Dell monitor. I can see a display on the TV but it is a portion of the desktop. Even when I drag a window into the area displayed, I'm unable to see anything but that desktop portion.
The only way I've gotten a successful display is to use the Clone Display feature. That will work I suppose but I really want to see if anyone has any ideas why the Dualview won't drive the appropriate resolution to the Samsung DLP as advertised.
