Problems running Vice City with FX cards....

I just installed my MSI GF FX 5200 card, and im getting a bunch of graphical errors.

anyone suggest a fix? i have the latest drivers, doesnt help at all. i didnt have this problem with my gf2mx, and dont when i reinstall that card, so its the FX card thats the problem....
 
Look around, and you'll see that people with all different cards are getting problems with Vice City. Apparently, Rockstar did just as bad a job with it as they did with GTAIII, which forced me to upgrade from my beloved Voodoo 3 (in retrospect, not a bad thing). I will get Vice City eventually, but I'm expecting problems. Basically, either somebody here has a fix or Vice City needs some serious patch work.
