Problems running SetiDriver on new system.

Hey guys. Help me out here if you can. I just got my CPU Palamino 1ghz. Installed it in a KK266R. Without even trying to OverClock I cant get seti driver to work.
Seti driver starts, but the status bar on the bottom is missing. It never updates. I know something is going on because when i turn seti driver off my temps drop about 6 c. Then when back on it rises. I never get an update of the current WU progress.

Any help?

lol ,I've done that too with SETIspy.

Try dragging out the bottom of the window😉.
(I assume you have ticked use SETIspy & its in the same directory)?

Umm..you mean you have to have seti spy in there? 😱

Im not using seti spy here on my laptop and it shows the bar on it...hrm..Ill check when i get home to see more info. Be a couple hours.

Setidriver gives you a choice of what to use to monitor progress. If you know it's going but see no status, then make sure the "Use Setidriver for monitoring progress" (or whatver it's called), option box is checked off.

hmm ,I'm not sure myself now!😕 ,the ship that I have SETIDriver on is powered down.But I'm sure I had all of those lower boxes ticked & I definately had the progress bar.

Whats really strange is I have it running on all my machines. This is the first to give any troubles like this. It finished one and started another, so I know its working. I would like to have the other part working as well!

Now that I'm home and looking at mine, there's a box called "Use Setidriver" and one for "Use Setispy" (plus a couple others). If the "Use Setidriver" isn't checked, then the progress bar will not increment.
