Problems running ScanDisk and Degragmenter

It would work halfway, then it would restart, and after restarting a bunch of times it would give me an error saying something is writing to the disk.

The problem is that I can't find what's writing to the disk, I closed all programs from the ctrl alt del menu, except explorer. I ran virus and ad aware scans and found no viruses or spyware. Please help, Thanks.
