Problems running Norton Disk Doctor on Win2K

I just got Norton Utilities 2001 and NDD tells me that there is an error (BTW, scandisk and chkdsk /f could not find any errors) with Win2K FAT32 partition. It does not tell me what is wrong just that there is an error and to check the "Fix Errors" box. When I do this and run NDD again, it tells me that the disk is in use and can't be fixed. It then asks if I want to schedule a fix on the next reboot. I click on yes and reboot. It gives me the same message after it reboots and starts NDD again.

I have tried to end all tasks running on system using taskmgr but to no avail. Can anyone help me?

While ranting on the new NU 2001, it seems to me they have taken out more then they added/refined. An example would be when you run NDD in the previous version, it used to provide the details of the error and also the fragmentation of partition. What happened to these useful tidbits?!?!?
