Problems retrieving experience index score on windows 8.1

Hello,

I have recently installed a fresh version of windows onto my computer. I also have made a few upgrades as of lately(ie. new ssd's). Anyways, I already know you can't access the experience index on windows 8 or 8.1 and that you have to do it manually through cmd prompt and then powershell.

So i put in the proper commands in cmd prompt(I think). Ran as admin ETC, and went through the whole process. But when I type "Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_WinSAT" into windows powershell I get all zero's. I thought anandtech would be a good place to start being that i cant seem to find an answer on google as of yet....

Click start,RUN.

Type in CMD............ when CMD is found above the start button then right click it and run as admin.

Sometimes just logging in as an administrator is not enough. Hope that works for ya.

NOW IT'S NOT DOING ANYTHING.... JUST THIS:

as you can see i tried it twice...wtf???

lol like the frustrated faces in the command line??? Yeah that's how i'm feeling... I should be scoring like 8.6-8.9 right now after an upgrade and i want to know!!!

Also when i try opening powershell in cmd prompt admin, it still gives me the same results...

Thank you i got on another forum and found out i had to either run "winsat formal -restart clean"

This is esentially the same as winsat formal -forgethistory, then winsat formal again... Anyways thank you
