Problems Printing from Intuit Applications to HP Deskjet 1220cxi

I have been having trouble printing from Intuit Quicken 2003 Premier and Turbotax 2002 Premier to my HP Deskjet 1220 cxi. When I try to print from Quicken, Quicken crashes. When I try to print from TurboTax, it says I have a "trial" version and won't print. I have no problems printing to the HP printer from any other applications. I have tried changing from USB connection to parallel connection with no change. I have reinstalled both Intuit programs with no change. Any suggestions?
