I have a couple of problems....

1. I just ordered a copper Tbird 750 tested @ 1.1ghz, 128MB mushkin ram, and a ABIT kt7-raid from pcnut.com. When i tried to assemble the system (in an Antec sx1030 case) and tried to start it up... nothing. I mean nothing, like nothing to the screen, no beeps, nothing. I then cleared the bios and took the battery out just in case, still nothing. I dont know exactly what is going on, i tested the chip in another system... it worked, i tested the ram, it worked, i also tested another system in the case... it worked. The only thing i can think of is the Mobo... just called pcnut, hope i can RMA it and get something that works. if anyone has any ideas about this, please let me know.

2. The other sytem I tried in that antec case was working fine for a day or so, then yesterday the keyboard stopped working. I thought maybe it was a bad KB so i got another... nothing. The funny thing is that the system doesnt even give an error about no KB being in, not at boot up and not when the OS loads. Also, the mouse doesnt work. Wierd, again if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

any help/ideas are greatly appreciated.

Anytime this has happened to me it's been cpu, RAM, or video not fully seated ... oh, and once one of the power switch wires had become disconnected and had to be soldered back on. Others have reported MB shorting out to case as cause. What I would do in your situation is try to start it up outside the case, resting the MB, with or without spacers, on a piece of heavy cardboard or rubber mat, shorting the two power pins with a screwdriver. If no go in that situation I'd RMA the board.

hey thanks, i already tried reseating the cpu and also testing the mobo outside of the case (on a wooden table), none of which worked. I am in the process of getting ahold of pcnut and RMA'ing the whole package and letting them figure it out. If you have any ideas, let me know...
