Problems Playing my AVI files, PLEASE READ AND HELP!

This Is The Error Signature When I Try To Watch My AVI...

Please Help me on this problem or give me a link to a codec i need for this..

Is it an avi you downloaded? Movie? TV-torrent? Try using gSpot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) it will tell you what codecs you need for that file and if you have a decoder already installed for it.

See if you have a problem with another player.

I personally use VideoLAN, and it is nice, simple, exquisite, and easily configurable - and doesn't try and load stuff from the net without you knowing -

Sorry -

I know it doesn't solve the immediate problem of your WMP not playing correctly, but consider this a valid troubleshooting method - cos VideoLAN is easily uninstalled. [should you wish to take the dark path]
