problems overclocking

Hi, i'm new to this forum. Last year i built a computer with the following hardware, i5 4670K, MSI Z97 Gaming 5 mother board, 8 gigs of ram, Nvidia Geforce 660GTX, 600 watt power supply, and the cpu has a evo 212 cooler.

my issue is that when i try to overclock, it never works out. Its never stable. I'm looking for some guidance here.

we are going to need WAAAY more info than that; can you pls list the various voltages you have modified, multipliers you are trying to reach, and define what "never works out" means.

You gotta turn the multiplier up to 48, and the voltage up to 1.5v. If it doesn't fry, you're not giving it enough. Cook your CPU until thoroughly heated, or golden-brown. Serve with ketchup.
