Set up my computer last week and had some success overclocking. I was able to get to 2.7ghz (9x300), but backed it down to 2.4ghz for regular use. Tonight I noticed that I have no overclock in Windows. CPU-Z shows 9x200. I look in the bios and the settings are still there for a 2.4 ghz overclock.

Specs of computer:
Antec P150 w\ Neo He 430 power supply
Opteron 165 0550 UPMW w\ retail hsf
DFI NForce4 Ultra Infinity motherboard
G. Skill Extreme 2x1GB memory

Settings in bios:
270 HTT
Memory is set at 166mhz
CPU Voltage: 1.35
Memory voltage: 2.6
Chipset voltage: 1.5

I have tried many different settings this evening and XP continues to show 1.8ghz speed.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Found a post at Hardforum to disable CPU Spread Spectrum in bios. That corrected the problem
