I assume your ram is fine at that speed. What brand and rating of power supply are you using, and what sort of HSF?

its a copper thermalright heatsink and artic silver 5

the PSU is an Enermax 460watt
EDIT:
Yeah the Ram is rated for that and has been fine before

First off we need complete specs for your setup, to include RAM, PSU, HS/fan, timings, BIOS build and settings that pertain, ambient temps, load temps etc.....

I am P95 and UT2004 stable at 12 x 200 with only 1.75 vCore. I am also stable at 12.5 x 200 at 1.85 vCore, and stable at 13 x 200 at 1.9 vcore. I can run higher, but nuclear fusion would be cooler. We have the same CPU core stepping, and you may have a better HS/fan combo than mine. You should be able to use the voltages that I do (or lower). Mine are slightly to the high side of reported voltage at the set frequency. Some report lower.

i have 2x256 twinmos pc3200 and 512 geil pc3200 in dual channel. i'll post the timings later on...

Enermax 460watt psu

thermalright copper heatsink with Ys-tech 92mm fan using artic silver 5

lastest bios from abit website for the NF7 v2

9800 pro

I just managed to load it up at 2.4ghz 1.75v(12*200) and ran prime95 on it to test how stable it was and i got an error after 39mins. I've upped it to 1.775v and am running prime95 as i type to see stability again. at load temp currently is 48C

EDIT: 2.4 is stable now . I tried 2.5ghz last night but i had to have it as high as 1.9v which is too high for comfort so i'll leave it at 2.4ghz i think.

I really beleive that your issue lies with the RAM, not the CPU. Mixed RAM is never a good thing. It works just fine when all is low stress, but as you stress it more and more by delivering more information to it via a faster overall system, you may notice instability. If you are mre stable in FFT (in-place) than blend, then RAM is likely your issue.

You want ito have (in best case scenario), identical chips in the RAM, and ensure that the default timings and voltages are all the same. After that, you will either need to find a way to raise signal strength, or raise the RAM voltage a notch (or two) in your three DIMM setup.
