Problems overclocking Lanparty UT

I just setup a new system yesterday, but when I try boosting the FSB speed even 1 MHz, my system crashes. I first tried in the BIOS, where the computer simply restart before it even hit the windows screen, and then with Clockgen, which locked my computer up. Does anyone know what could be keeping me from overclocking?? Here's my specs:

Athlon 64 3400+ Newcastle
DFI Lanparty UT NF3
2x512MB Kingmax Hardcore PC4000
PNY GeForce FX 5200
Thermaltake Silentboost K8 HSF

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your HT multiplier? Lower it. Put a ram divider on just in case.
