problems of my new system :( they are driving me crazy :(

amd64 3000+
K8N neo platinum bios ver. 1.5b1
1gb Kingmax ddr466
galaxy 6800gt (has been replaced w/ my old geforce2gt)
seagate 200g sata
nec3500
Coolermaster Centurion 5 w/350w psu

problems:
1. not able to boot with 6800gt. screen gets crazy after startup. now using geforce2gt.

2. mouse's light is still on after system shut down. i have to unplug AC power to turn off the mouse (is it normal with the k8n neo system?)

3. i have an old enermax 350w psu (it's on my sister's system and i am too lazy to exchange it with the coolermaster 350w). is it going to be enough for this system? or do i have to get a 450w psu (the MSI tech surport said so)

4. the front usb port (connected to USB1) is also not working. (did not check out the front 1394 and line-out yet)

any help would be appreciated.

Don't know how efficient Cooler Master PSUs are.

I bought an 8KN after reading Anandtech's positive review:frown:

While I haven't had TOO many issues yet, I'm very concern about this board. All I see these days is negative stuff.

Regarding the need for a 450W power supply, this seems insane to me! What the heck kind of system needs 25 A on the 12 V line?

I'm very temped to box the damn thing up and cash out. Could this be the nOOb board of the year?

will a 350W(w/12V@26A) psu do just fine with this board?
i think my Enermax 350w has 26A on the 12V rail

or do i have to get a 450w psu with 12v@25A to run this damn board?
