So I jsut got one of these recently and have been trying to OC it.
I've been using coolbits and I set it to the max I coudl get without the testing failing, it was around 494/??~ (I'm not able to access it at the moment to check). But anyways, I saved it, checked the box that said apply at startup, rebooted for good luck, checked again and the settings stayed the way I set them, however...
When I go into benchmarking with 3dmark '06 there is no change whatsoever in my scores, I plan on testing it soon with other versions to see if it's just the program itself, but I don't think it is...
I'm using the latest stable driver from nvidia (81.98 I believe?) The card itself is the BFG 7800GS OC.
Short and simple:
The overclocking isn't taking effect.
