I recently installed a new video card (Herc. Prophet Geforce MX0 and Q3 wouldn't start. I just got a grey screen and the pc locked up. I had difficulty uninstalling it but finally managed with Norton Uninstall Deluxe. I then went in a deleted the rest of the files manually thinking that if I reinstalled it, my problems would be solved.
Now when I put the cd in the option to install is greyed out so obviously the os still thinks Q3 is there somewhere. How can I totally wipe it out? If I go into regedit do I simply delete anything to do with Q3.
I don't want to have to do something radical like format the hd.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

Yeah I had already run regedit and deleted any refs to Q3. Although it would give me an option to install, it did let me "reinstall" and now it's fine. Thanks for the reply.
