I finally got around to doing a real upgrade on my system, and it's worked good except for one problem. Most Direct3D programs are displayed incorrectly. Actually, they're pretty screwed up. Some examples would be Aliens Verse Predator 2 and Colin McRae 2.0. Tirtanium 1.9, an older benchmark, is messed up too, but for some reason the 1.4 version of it doesn't have the problem. I don't get it! I assumed it was a video problem at first but the card hasn't changed any during the upgrade, nor has the operating system or anything besides the CPU/Motherboard/Memory
Original system was:
P2-450
A-Trend 6220 Motherboard
256MB PC133
New System is:
Athlon 1600XP
Abit KR7-RAID
256MB Corsair PC2400 DDR
nVidia GeForce2 Ti Primary Card
Matrox G200 for second monitor
Yamaha Crapola Sound Card (tried a Diamon Monster Sound MX300, it didn't seem to like that a whole lot)
Network Everywhere 10/100 Ethernet Card
I've tried nVidia driver versions 23.11 and 23.12, both had the same problem. OpenGL games run fine. I'm using version 4.37 of the Via 4in1 drivers.
Here are some pictures of what's happening, in Tirtanium at least...
