Problems getting a Sempron 3100+ to work on a board. Help!

Problems with a Sempron 3100+. I can't get it to boot on a FIC K8T800 S754 motherboard, and it does not look like that there is a BIOS update available for that board. Any ideas?

It boots fine with a 3200+

Soltek just released a new bios last night for their NF3 250GB board and it looks like the only added "feature" is support for Semprons. Judging from that, it looks like you'll be stuck until FIC releases an updated bios. It's gotta be a fairly quick fix, so hopefully they'll hook you up soon.

k - I'm just in dire need of a new board that supports this chip then.

Have you contacted FIC support? They may have a beta bios they can send that will get you fixed up until they release the official version. Can't hurt to give them a call or email.
