Problems finding an audio driver for a Gateway W350i notebook

So, I had to do a favor for a friend and re-install Windows XP; however, XP doesn't seem to have the drivers for the sound card for the Gateway W350i. The owner is unable to find the original disks which would have the drivers. So, I went onto Gateway's website, to try and find the drivers, I know it is a Sigmatel based sound card; however, when I search for the model of the notebook, nothing comes up. Also, the serial number on back is faded to the point where not one alphanumeric character is readable. I have tried searching, and searching, and have been unable to find the proper driver, or even a generic one that will work. Is there any chance anyone has this notebook with the driver disk that could help me out, or know where I could possibly find it? I've never had such a hard time find a simple driver, and it's driving me crazy. Please, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
