Ok, I have been at this all day and am right back where I started. Here is the situation:

Installing a new pix on a new line. The current line is in place so I have access to both sides of the VPN.

I copied the config from the old pix to the new one, and changed the internal and external IP's as well as the route.

On the ASA I copied all the settings for the tunnel, and changed the IP. Both are using the same network (192.168.12.0).

From the pix I can ping externally and hit the ASA. From the ASA I can see that it is trying to establish a connection, this is what I get:
Group: = <ip address> IP: = <ip address>, PHASE 1 COMPLETE
Group: = <ip address> IP: = <ip address>, QM FSM error (P2 struct <string of charachters>!
Group: = <ip address> IP: = <ip address>, removing peer from correlator table failed, no match!
Group: = <ip address> Username: = <ip address> IP: = <ip address>, session disconnected, Session Type IPSecLAN2LAN....Reason Unknown

Any thoughts?

Some commands are different between ASA 7.x and Pix 6.3.
What versions of code are you running on ASA & Pix?
Exactly what commands did you put on the Pix?
