problems downloading files from my webmin server

Ok, just yesterday I could download just fine, as could remote users. Today, we can access the page just fine, and the cgi scripts + java applets are running blazing fast, BUT when we try to download a file it won't serve to us. Specifically when I click on a file to download, the download window pops up and displays the following:

getting file info from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
...mp3?rand=1000132381286&trust=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

or when you hold "shift" and click:
octet-stream&trust=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Now the webmin server is running SSL if that makes any difference. But like I said yesterday (even while running SSL) it operated just fine, today it just times out on us. I've restarted the server four times already, and stopped and started the webmin dameon, as well as the init and xinedt processes. Can anyone help with this one?

See the other thread you started for this, I already asked a couple of questions that probably need to be answered. Of course I could be on the wrong track 🙂
