I have a TDK VeloCD 121032A drive under Win2K and using Nero 5.xx. It will not write out, at any speeds, with the error "Medium speed error". This is a new drive, and it seems to work fine with Backup MyPC, but it won't work with NEro (which came with). I'm also using TDK media, which should be high quality stuff. ANyone have suggestions?
 
type "medium speed error" into google (with quotes included) and you'll find a good couple of hits...read through them, they might help (i don't have time to delve into them right now)
 
I did that already, and still no joy =( I also went through and did EVERYTHING that the HelpTool @ Nero suggested, and I sent mail to their techsupport with the exact problem with no response. *sigh*
