Problems burning audio in Win2000

I was just having a problem with burning Audio using Easy CD Creator 5 in Windows 2000. I can burn audio CDs perfectly fine... it's just that when I am burning them and it is done burning one track and starts on another track.. everything freezes up for about 10-15 seconds for every track. Just wondering if there's something that I need to install to make this stop. Thanks for your help
