Problems booting up fresh WinXP install

I'm reinstalling an old PC, which has an Asus P4P800E-Deluxe motherboard with two RAID controllers (the Intel one and a Promise FastTrak 378).

I've succesfully created a RAID0 array with two WD800JD's, install Windows using F6 to load up the driver and finish the Windows install. Upon the first reboot, the system will display the Windows XP loading screen and freeze, turning of the monitor and doing absolutely nothing.

I already tried with both RAID controllers with the exact same result. Funny thing is, I can start Windows in safe mode.

Any ideas??
