problemos with counterstrike and monitor!!!

i just got a new monitor and changed my refresh to 85hz and the desktop size to 1280*1024 and now when i play counterstrike the game doesnt use the whole screen...there is a good inch or so on the left side of the screen being unused...is there any way to fix this or whats with it????

you could just adjust your monitor settings to make it fill the screen.

sounds like the game is running at a new resolution or refresh rate than before as well.

Yes during the game...monitors need adjusting for each resolution AND refresh rate.

find an online documentation on cs/hl command parameters. i think there is a parameter that forces full window. that might solve your problem.
