This problem didn't seem to be addressed in the other topics on this subject. In my case, yes, the SATA drives are seen by Windows just fine, but the problem arises when I try and install. After I create a partition Windows says that it can't install because I need an XP-compatible partition. Afterwards I went into the Recovery Console and formatted the partition I created as NTFS. Again, the same issue when I try and install Windows. I just grabbed a floppy drive from work just incase it, for some reason, needs the drivers, though I can't see why it would since it has already detected the drives.
Any ideas?
[Edit]
Well, Chaintech seems to be down and the driver disc I have is not being recognized in Windows (friend's pc). Seems like for the past two weeks I've been stymied at every effort to get this damn thing running. Stupid computers.
