Problem with XP and my IDE drive

Hello,

I have a SCSI drive for my system files and a IDE drive for all my data. THe
scsi is formatted NTFS and the ide is still fat32.
On my ide drive is all my backup data.
THe weird thing is that disk management does see the drive, but the only
option that is available is delete partition. I can't assign a drive letter.

What can I do?
The ide drive is disk 0 and the scsi drive is disk 1
How can I get my ide back in the explorer?

Thanks!

Paul
