problem with winXp and 4 IDE devices

I'm using WinXP with 2 IDE hard disk, DVD Drive and CDRW Drive

My computer will hang up if i place a DVD disk or a cd in the CDRW drive

I need to uninstall the DVDROM and CDRW drive and restart the machine

THen only its ok

But the same problem will come again after that

My power supply is 400Watt.

Possibility: Jumpers.. If you are using cable select for cd/ dvd drives, hard select (put one on master the other slave)

If hard select on CD/ DVD drives, try Cable select.
