I just formated my PC and did a clean install with Vista and SP1 (Vista 64 home premium) and I have a little problem opening my pictures.
Before I formated (pre SP1) the default program to open my pictures was the "Windows photo gallery" which worked pretty good for me, could do all I wanted went it comes to basic viewing and editing.
Now, after formating, all my pictures were associated with windows picture editor...which was not what I wanted. So I just changed the default file association with Vista back to "windows photo gallery"...but it didn't work. Instead of opening my pictures with that program, it just act like if all of my pictures were "shortcut" to that program so all I get is the program opening(windows photo gallery) but with a empty page...
And the weirdest thing is that if I right click on a picture and select preview instead of open, Windows photo gallery will open that picture like it's suppose to...
So I guess my final question is, anyone know how I can manage to have the windows photo gallery open my pictures by just double clicking on them, like any other kind of files you would open?
