love outputting my display to a 32" widescreen TV. It beats the hell out of a monitor in most cases.
Most recently, I've had problems with 2 games in particular that I just started playing. That is, Evil Genius and the latest Command and Conquer (3!) don't fit my screen correctly. Imagine taking the screen and shifting it to the right, so that only 2/3 of the game is viewable. That's what it looks like when I play these games.
I couldn't find a Windowed mode for either of these games, which would be a very easy way to fix this. Also, neither game offers a widescreen resolution, which is so surprising since C&C is very recently. Again, another easy fix just beyond my grasp.
I've tried updating my graphics drivers for my Radeon x800 XL, but no use.
Also, I am using a VGA cable, my card and my TV both have a primary VGA input.
Sorry about the crosspost from off topic, that was accidental
