So i got this hard drive not even a year ago,all was fine untill now, my computer happen to be VERY SLOW. Windows can take like 1min to boot (xp pro sp2,fresh install) standard applications/games also take ages to start.. i know my memory, cpu and mother board are fine.. and the problem is actually my(only one) hard drive.
heres a screen of the Quick bench of HD Tach V 3.0.1.0

and now a Western digital caviar 7200rpm, with the same bench

theres a hudge difference and clearly show how bad perfom my Raptor 10krpm.
Note that i did the bench just after a reboot, and there was no other programs running at all.I tried the Western Digital diagnostic tool, after 13hours of extended test... all is fine
so.. wtf?
