Here is my system:
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R
SAPPHIRE 100203L Radeon HD 2400PRO
Patriot Extreme Performance (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit
Core 2 Duo E6750
NEC DVD-RW
Lite On DVD-Rom
2 Hard Drives
PS - Had a 500w FSP and replaced it with a brand new 600 FSP Supply.

I put my new system together just over a week ago and everything worked perfectly from the first boot. I installed XP and Vista dual boot with no problems, and had no problems for about 5 straight days. When I would turn it off, sometimes it wouldnt power back on all the way. I would get case fans spinning up, dvd drives spinning up but lights would just flash, but I would never get a boot screen on the monitor. Sometimes it would boot up just fine and others I would have to unplug and try to restart several times before I could get a boot screen. Most of the time the CPU fan will start to spin up and then stop, but sometimes it would spin up and stay and it still wouldnt boot.

I assumed my power supply was going bad, so I ordered a new 600W FSP from Newegg. But, it will not get to a boot screen at all with the new power supply.

Here is what I have tried:
Clearing CMOS
Swapping Memory Sticks - if I pull both sticks out it powers on for about 1 sec and turns off.
Removing Mobo from case to check for shorts
Unplugging everything but video card, memory and power
Removing and reseating all items

I dont have another mobo that I can try the cpu in or another cpu I can try in this mobo. I am leaning towards trying to the mobo RMA'd. But I am wondering if there is something that I am missing and should be doing. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

No beeps that could indicate a problem? If so, I guess it's RMA time. Did you try booting with 1 stick btw? With 1 HD? Can you replace the vid card?

No, I dont get any beeps at all.

I have tried with one stick at a time with both of them, and one hard drive.

I dont have another video card that is pci-e.

I have tried messing with it some more and he is what I found out. The only time that I can get any beep codes is if I try to start it up with no memory sticks at all, then I get a series of 3 beeps. I also found an old PCI video card that I had lying around and tried to use it but again I get no video output.

Is there anything else worth trying to do I just try and get a new mobo?

if the mobo is beeping I would suspect something else first, but that's just me...
I would also probably RMA the mobo, CPU, and RAM.

The only time I can get it to beep is when I dont have any memory sticks inserted.

Yes, that helps! That is what mine does most of the time. So it looks like I will be sending the board back. Thanks everyone.
