Problem with W2K Event Viewer

When I open event viewer on one of my servers it does open, but... When I click on System, Event Viewer crashes.

The others (Application, Security) are fine.

I have renamed and started new logs and rebooted. I dont know what else to do and i cant find anything in google about this problem.

any suggestions?
 
Try opening the logs from inside computer management.

If you able to, try to right click on the log and go to properties. Then hit the clear log button, and see if that fixes it.
