Problem with viewing .wmv's in firefox

Any time I try to view an embedded WMV in firefox, it says that I am missing a plugin. I'm running XP Media Center Edition, WMP 10, Firefox 1.0.7. I recently installed the k-lite codec pack, and I think that may have something to do with it, but I'm not sure.

Any help is much appreciated.
 
I have had the same issue forever.

I can't remember if there's a fix or not, but suggestions for fixes would be much appreciated.

Stuff like this means i have to use the IEView extension, which i really hate having to use...
 
Same here. I dislike having to use IE for anything. At least the IEView extension is there to provide a handy alternative to direct-downloading.
