Problem with USB drive

Hello

I have a stfi usb 2.0 drive. Ive had the drive for a few months now, but all of a sudden this week it stopped being recognized by windows xp.

Well, it gets recognized since I can mount and unmount it. But when I try to access its drive letter I can't. It says please insert disk or something.

Is it something physically wrong with my usb drive or is there any other way to fix it?
